Our colleague Lynn has blogged a couple of times on TheCorporateCounsel.net about ESG ratings providers that are now making the scores publicly available for free. Recently, MSCI also unveiled an app that tracks ESG ratings for 2800 companies. The app also tracks & compares performance of 850 ESG indexes.
With more people easily able to access this info, it could elevate the importance of ESG performance and ratings. Whether the ratings are accurate and reliable is another story.
